Hola! I am happy to re-introduce the Latino Link column to you. Once again, this column, your column, will be published on the first Thursday of the month.

It is 2008. I hope the best for you, and wish you all a happy and prosperous new year! January will be a busy month! We should take care of unfinished business, pay holiday bills, and prepare our income taxes – don’t wait until the last minute. Next month, I will include information on where you might consider getting your income taxes filed for free, or at a very good price. Make sure that whoever does your income taxes is qualified, and is updated on changes to filing this year.

I want to thank the agencies, groups, organizations, and individuals who worked so hard during the holidays, collecting numerous items including toys, blankets, and food to donate to those in need. However, let’s not forget about the less fortunate throughout the year. Don’t stop contributing – every little bit helps.

Enero va a ser muy ocupado tenemos que resolver todo lo que dejamos pendiente, pagar deudas de los días festivos, hacer preparaciones para los impuestos - no lo dejes hasta el ultimo momento, El próximo mes incluiré información de lugares donde tal ves, te puedan preparar las formas de impuestos gratuitamente o a bajo precio. Asegúrate de que la persona que te va a preparar las formas esté corriente con los cambios, y regulaciones de este año.

Quiero dar gracias a las organizaciones, grupos, y personas, que colectaron cosas que incluyeron juguetes, cobijas y comida para personas necesitadas durantes los días festivos. Pero quiero recordarles, que muchas personas están necesitadas durante todo el año. Ayuden cuando puedan.
